She then completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her fellowship in Dermatology at the University of Texas San Antonio. Recognized as a 2024 Rising Star Doctor for San Antonio, she empowers patients with knowledge about their dermatological conditions and offers personalized guidance for skincare and dermatology.     Scarlett Boulos, MD, is board-certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology, with interests in general, surgical, and laser dermatology. She is the only board-certified pediatric dermatologist at DermSurgery Associates. She is a native Houstonian who is fluent in four languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, and French). Dr. Boulos received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rice University, where she graduated cum laude. She earned her medical doctorate from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Boulos completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and her residency training in dermatology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Subsequently, Dr. Boulos completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She gained advanced training and experience in treating complex pediatric cases, vascular lesions, as well as surgical and laser treatment in children. During her training, Dr. Boulos gave multiple academic presentations, authored several peer-reviewed publications, and contributed to a bi-monthly column in Infection Diseases in Children called Spot the Rash during her fellowship year. She is passionate about medical dermatology and the management of inflammatory diseases associated with dermatology. She has lectured nationally on the topics of psoriasis, hidradentis suppurative and atopic dermatitis. Her special interests include acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin of color and skin malignancies.     Kruti Gandhi is a Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C). Kruti is originally from Hoover, Alabama. After high school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College. She earned her Masters in Public Health from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and then went on to earn her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Barry University in Miami, Florida. She has worked as a physician assistant in the field of dermatology since 2013. Kruti is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and is licensed to practice medicine through the Texas Board of Medicine and Florida Board of Medicine.   • Jennifer Meaders, APRN-CNP

    Nurse Practitioner

    Jennifer began her nursing career at M.D. Anderson after completing the accelerated BSN program at University of Texas School of Nursing in Houston, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 2006. She graduated with her MSN in 2011, also from the University of Texas in Houston. After graduating, she returned to M.D. Anderson to work in dermatology. She worked collaboratively with 5 dermatologists in the outpatient dermatology clinic with a focus on skin exams and after a few years started the first dermatology mid-level practitioner clinic in the Cancer Prevention Center. While working at M.D. Anderson, she received the DAISY Award due to her competence and compassion. Jennifer has completed the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Certificate Program and is an active member of member of The National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. In 2019, Jennifer and her husband moved to Carmine in order to live and raise their children away from the traffic and stress of the city. She serves the dermatologic needs of the Brenham community and surrounding areas. When not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, gardening, cooking, working out and volunteering.

    Licensed Aesthetician

    Angela Sweeney is a licensed aesthetician, practicing aesthetics since 1987. In 1998 Angela was one of the first aestheticians to offer laser services in the Houston area, she has now accumulated many years experience on a wide variety of systems. Angela’s training in the U.K. included acne treatments, European skin care and body treatments, micropigmentation and scar revision. In the UK she received awards in both business and aesthetics, she owned various skin care clinics and enjoyed educating students in her Aberdeen skin care clinic. Angela moved to the U.S. in 1996 and obtained her license through advanced medical aesthetics. Angela continues her education by attending seminars and conferences.
